Description
The Aqueduct of Segovia is probably one of the most well preserved Roman aqueduct in the world. It was built between the late 1st and early 2nd centuries to bring water from the nearby river to the city. The amazing thing is that the 20,400 stock blocks are neither cemented nor stuck together by any substance. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
